The food takes a little while but it's incredible. The owner is very generous. Never been disappointed here.

This is the best place in Cary we've found for Sushi. It's small and quaint which makes it perfect for a relaxed night out. The sushi and hibachi entrees are excellent! Try the surf and turf roll.

Traditional Japanese sushi with quality food and cozy atmosphere. The sushi is more expensive than some other places and no bogo rolls, but very fresh, and well crafted. They serve traditional Japanese beer and high quality sake. The seaweed salad was top notch and they serve fruit as a pallet cleanser to finish the meal.The space is somewhat small, so this place seems most ideal for a quiet family meal or date, rather than large a group gathering. The lighting was too dim in my opinion.Overall, a good dining experience. I can tell the owner really cares about their business and traditional Japanese cuisine.

Very nice service and good food

The food here is great, the sushi is outstanding. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very hospitable. I recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Had the Seafood Yaki Soba. Was delicious. Service was great. First time there. Will be back to try the sushi!

Took a little while to be seated but after that everything went great! The lady greeted us and sat us down then went to get our drinks. We ordered some fried gyoza and it was absolutely fantastic! We also got some sort of crab lump (crab, cream cheese, butter. Not sure what else) that was phenomenal. The sushi rolls were much bigger than expected. We ordered two rolls each and could barely finish one each. The sushi rolls were delicious. The sushi maker did a wonderful job. When we played the bill, the lady thanked us and wished us a great night. She was wonderful. I will definitely be back for more sushi!

Excellent sushi and service, was treated to a nice appetizer and sake free of charge, as well as an excellent sushi dinner. Lady serving us was very sweet and helpful. Very much a hole in the wall vibe, but in the best way. Would eat here again (try the lava roll)

Exceptionally service! You may wait a little but the wait is well worth it. Always happy to dine here. The sweet lady at the counter will do everything to make you happy. No better authentic sushi around

Hidden gem in Cary. The lady who serves is very friendly (she always remembers us) and the sushi chef is wonderful!

This is hands down the best sushi restaurant in the Raleigh-Durham-Cary area. I came in last night with a large online order, it was ready quickly and the sushi was better than most upscale sushi restaurants. The sweet woman collecting the order chatted with us about the restaurant being there for 60 years, she's been there for 15, she's a huge reason why I love this place. It is located in a strip with a lot of great cuisine, but this is my new favorite spot in town. I won't buy sushi anywhere else. I'm telling everyone I know about Sushi Little Tokyo. Thank you for the great sushi and hospitality.

Amazing sushi! I don't waste my sushi money elsewhere. Thick cuts and you definitely get your money worth. Great lunch specials too!

Great food for a great price! My husband and I like coming here for the lunch bento sushi box. $10 for soup, crab bake, sashimi, sushi, salad, tempura vegetables. Delish!

Wonderful food, you get what you pay for and more. The nice lady gave us free sake just because. The establishment is clean and comfortable. When ever I visit NC I go here.

This is sushi the way it SHOULD be! I've eaten sushi all over the country, at some very expensive and fancy places, and this is where I always come back. The chef is the real deal, aka did the proper entire 8 year apprenticeship in Japan to become Master. And it shows in the attention to detail and perfection you'll get on your plate!If you want a fancy snazzy place with flair this isn't for you. The decor is minimalist and nothing is at all flamboyant. But if you want real Japanese cuisine, you'll be in the right place!

I Postmated an order tonight, and chose this place at random, because I had a craving for sushi. Although my Postmates driver got my order wrong (I got someone else's rolls, and they got mine), the random sushi that I got was the absolute BEST sushi that I have ever had-I can't imagine what the sushi I actually ordered would have tasted like! They have gained a customer for life!

This is by far the best sushi place and the Raleigh Durham area! This is also my husband and daughters favorite place to go. The staff is so incredibly pleasing and accommodating. We are patrons for life!

The server was sweet, but what really made me happy was the price point.$12 will get you all you need: the Sushi & Sashimi Bento was such a great choice. It comes with the chefs special roll of the day (4pcs.) So I recommend this if you like sashimi & nigiri.Some free green tea and some (average-priced) hot sake made for a great meal.

Excellent food ! I went for the Tokyo Spicy Beef and was not disappointed: it was flavorful and yummy !Ok, we went for a late dinner, so few people in there. The server could give more attention to everyone. The server I think was also the owner, is a very nice lady. She brought a small "soup in a cup", and salad with orange ginger to get us started, great.Then came a small bottle of warm Sake, I had almost the entire bottle - not much but enough to keep you going. Wife doesn't drink but took a little sip and since she didn't complain I assume the sake was alright.Then a little couple of toasted creamy coconut crab (not sweet) as a "palate entertainment" , was also good.Finally, the main course we ordered. Wife ordered the Steak Hibachi, while I enjoyed my spicy Tokyo steak.They take pickup orders too - people came in to pick up all the time.Wonderful, we certainly will be back !!!

Ginger salad is phenomenal! The only negative is that it was too small😄!

Service was superb. They were very considerate of my daughter being with me and making sure I had the proper utensils for her to use as well as myself. I ordered food to go and they were very quick preparing it for us.Not only their service was good the sashimi was mouthwatering delicious and came very cold. The sushi rolls were well made and tasted amazing. I will recommend this place to everyone and be a returning customer.

This place is for true Sushi Connoisseurs. The fish is always fresh and full of flavor. Sushi isn't the only good thing here either! Do yourself the favor stop by and see Chef Alex!

Amazing! The hospitality of the hostess and the chef was wonderful. The sushi was outstanding. Like no other in Cary! Very high quality sushi and appetizers. Very generous portions and delicious preparation. We can't wait to go back!

This little restaurant is a lucky find! My wife and I have eaten here many times - usually take out, but tonight we enjoyed a dinner inside and the service was wonderful. The sweet lady running the desk and serving is so nice, by far one of the best serving experiences we've had. She brings us free treats/samples and she's always smiling - it shows that she loves her job. We are always happy to support such a wonderful business. LOVE THIS PLACE! We will be dining in more often after tonight's experience. And the food has never disappointed us, always on point :)

Love this place! We've been regular customers for years. It's small and family owned. The sushi is always fresh and there is a variety of rolls, sashimi and other cooked dishes for the kids or people who don't eat raw fish.

Friendly, good quality, not too expensive (for sushi).

THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN OUR FIRST TIME TRYING THIS PLACE. We ordered, was told it would take an hour, my husband gets there and the FOOD WAS NEVER MADE.

The place isn't fancy--we had Styrofoam plates, but the sushi we ordered was very tasty. Underline very. We got sake on the house.

Food is delicious! Portion sizes are so large you will be taking some to go! Our server was so sweet and helpful. The teriyaki chicken is not too sweet not too salty and very very good! Worth waiting for a table.

My favorite place for sushi in Raleigh/ Cary. I've been a regular since I moved down to the area and Little Tokyo never disappoints. Superior service, top quality fish and friendly staff. A truely hidden. Gem.

Hidden Gem! Huge menu. Don't expect super fast service as this is a place to dine. Not shove and go. Small and not fancy but food quality is excellent.

This is best sushi I have had in the United States! My family got the boat for 2, seaweed salad and teriyaki dinner. The sashimi and special were amazing! It is pricey, but so worth it!

Great Shrimp Tempura Sushi.

We were very disappointed with our food from here. They only thing that was good was the California roll and the tempura vegetables (which were luke warm). The teriyaki chicken was very fatty and hard to eat. We have also had the salmon here before which is hit or miss.

Loved the sushi and our server was excellent, we tried three rolls and had hibatchi everything was really tasty and fast. We even received some complementary sake at the end of our meal.
